There are many countries in this world still fighting against starvation. The people probably never get the chance to enjoy a three-meal for a daily basis, the opportunity that I have the luxury for. We can help them out, probably not in a direct way.
FreeRice is simply a website, that let you play some word-game. The game itself is just a synomnim based system, you pick a word with similar meaning with the one being asked. Simple, but it helps you to formulate your idea in a better way because you’ll learn new words (and many other advantages related to word-knowlegde). For each correct answer, you donate 20 grains of rice.

It’s been quite some time since I entertain myself with movies that is released in recent times, for usually I waited till the local TV station broadcast it, for free. And you can imagine, the movie that is shown on TV, basically fell into the category “last year’s entry” or worse.
And then I go for this one called “10,000 BC” (for reference: http://www.10000bcmovie.com/). A movie about a young man adventure to save his tribe, and their future. Yes, the settings take place in the era of Mammoth and Sabertooth Tiger.
D’Leh is a young man from a mammoth hunter tribe, facing a real deal with the rest of his society. Just like an old saying, the child is destined to bear the father’s sin, D’Leh become the black sheep of the tribe due to his father act that is considered as “abandoning the tribe”. But in the end, D’Leh is the one that save the tribe from abolishment.

The story goes just like other common adventure movies does, a man go for a quest for his woman and then become a hero for everybody. But in this movie, I found a nice touch that shows culture of nations working hand-on-hand for the same purpose. It shows that even when each culture has its own so-called prophecy, each and every single of it resolve to one greater good.
If I can categorized this movie, it fall into the same pot Apocalypto goes.
Image taken from: imdb.comThis is one band I like very much. They came from Sweden, met in a small town named Jonkoping. If you never heard them before, listen to this one I’m recommending. The song is entitled Been It, the music is so fine, and the lyrics ain’t so hard.
You still don’t have a clue? Try this:
Ever watch Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo & Juliet” before? The one with Leonardo DiCaprion in it. You *must* know “Love Fool” then! It’s their hits during those years.
The vocalist (Nina Persson) giving the band her vocal presence just the way I adore it. But not like all other “female-voiced”, this one really come with great interplay between members. So totally, they are one of the kind.
